About Beautifully Done
Diagnosis: Borrowed time
Treatment: Trust
Prognosis: Beautifully Done
Asher Craig drives fast, flies high, and screws hard. But make no mistake, he’s a gentleman.
He learned way too young that we’re all on borrowed time. Fair or unfair, you only get one ride. He vows to live for the moment because it’s the only time he owns. The past is beyond his control and the future may not exist. With his only loyalties being his family, he thrives for that edge where plunging over is always in the realm of possibility.
When a beautiful familiar face tilts his axis, he re-examines everything and realizes that second chances are overrated and a lifetime of firsts are irreplaceable. In the end, it’s not her medical degree but his trust that needs to prove that the ride together is worth it ... until it’s Beautifully Done.
***Author's note***
Contains spoilers from Beautifully Awake. We highly recommend reading Chase and Lili's story first. For readers 18+

Pain
pierced my shin and I jerked back. “What the hell was that for?” I bitched at
the half pint spit-fire, sporting auburn highlights this week. Sierra changed
her hair color as often as her shoes. And my luck, tonight she was in some
pointy fucking boots.
“You have a freakin’ plane? For real? You never told me you
had a plane! Lil, did you know Green Giant had his own private plane. And he
flies it?”
“Hold up, Green Giant?” I questioned, trying to get a word
in edgewise. These two women spoke their own estrogen dialect. It could get out
of control, especially when Sierra went off on a tangent. And there it was,
with both hands in the air, her drink--which I assumed was a
margarita--splashed down the front of her light grey sweater dress. She didn’t
flinch. Sam, on the other hand, jumped to pat the excess liquid off her c cups.
Cant. Make. This. Shit. Up.
Chase buried his head in his wife’s shoulder to hide his
laughter, Lil bit her fingernail, and Dodd feigned a coughing fit.
In her oblivion, Sierra manually removed the red-headed
beauty’s hand from her chest. “I’m good, no really. Besides, it’s all padding,
babe. Breastfeeding sucks the life from the girls.” If Dodd shook his head one
more time he was in serious jeopardy of herniating a neck disc.
“What part don’t you get?” Sierra focused back on me.
“You’re eyes resemble those crazy contacts models wear and you’re a freaking
giant.” Her contorted facial expression screamed, ‘Duh.’
“We’re about the same height, sweetheart.” I thumbed toward
the two men standing on either side of me.
“Yeah, but he’s a quarterback.” She pointed to Chase. “He’s
a linebacker.” She air kissed Dodd. “And you’re the sick ass wide receiver. You
just look taller. Just cause.”
Since when
did she follow football? My cell started ringing and luckily I didn’t have to find out. “On that note, excuse
me.” I fished it out of my black suit pants and turned my back on the crew. It
was her. My balls did a happy dance. Fuck it, I was so screwed.
“Hey you.”
About the Authors
We’re East coast girls separated by Long Island Sound who
met in Physician Assistant School and have been besties ever since. We can
safely say that thirteen miles of water does not get in the way because we talk
or text, no exaggeration, at least 150 times a day. No, really, we do—about
everything and nothing. Shockingly, we never (we mean never) run out of things to say.
Umm, ever. We definitely laugh A LOT and we’re a tad sarcastic. And if
we’re being totally honest, one or two people might have, on occasion, used our
names and ‘dramatic’ in the same sentence. But it’s hard to trust the sources
since they married us.
It only took twelve years, two husbands, five kids, two
dogs, and a two-week vacation in Cape Cod later to decide the romance world
needed a splash of medicine. Write what
you know.
So you can easily find us at 4 o'clock on Bank Street
beach with a glass of cold Prosecco brainstorming. And guaranteed if we bump
into you, literally, it’s only because our iPhones are glued to our hands
(totally out of our control) either writing or editing our next novel (and yes,
it is possible to do from your iPhone, we mastered it … damn those straight
quotations).
When we are not working on our book or reading the latest
angsty romance on our kindles, you basically name it and we have it going on.
Soccer, lacrosse, golf, swimming, dance, gymnastics, football, chess, baseball,
basketball, skiing, ice skating, school, homework, and more school.
Oh yeah, did we forget to mention our careers in medicine?
Needless to say, we realized fast that something had to
go, so we opted for sleep. It’s completely overrated (yet so AMAZING) and
delirium makes everything funnier. Good thing we share a brain and can pretty
much complete each other’s sentences (definitely weird, we know).
So that’s our story, who we are … just add AUTHORS to the
list!

Synopsis
Blair Walton isn't your average tattooed children's librarian. She's also one half of bestselling romance author, Scarlet Rose. Along with her bff Raine, she spends her nights writing books so steamy, she's afraid they would shock her Southern conservative grandmother to death, if she knew about them. Blair and Raine keep their smut peddling ways a secret from everyone, including family.
On deadline for their latest book and out of ideas, Raine suggests (demands) that Blair find a guy and "do some research." It just so happens that Blair has a guy that's ready and willing. Declan Bennet has all the qualifications: He's British, looks fabulous in a suit and gets bonus points for being a single dad. But what started out as a research project quickly turns into something much more. Someone else is writing this love story and Blair has completely lost control. But will Declan still feel the same way when he finds out the truth about Blair and her secret motives?

Is It All About Sex?
It's been said (more than once) that new adult novels are
just young adult novels plus sex. Every time I see someone perpetuate this
statement, it makes me ragey. It's also been said that sex sells. Sure it does.
Why is pornography so popular? Why do magazines with half-naked women on them
sell better than ones with women that are fully-clothed?
Sex DOES sell. But sex isn't EVERYTHING.
Just like a relationship can't be based purely on sex, new
adult novels are not purely based on sex. Unless, of course, they're erotica.
Then it's perfectly fine to have a book that is just based on sex. But many new
adult novels are being categorized as "erotica" and they simply
aren't. Here's a good barometer for a book: If you took out every erotic scene,
would you still have a story? Most romances have sex in them, but aren't ABOUT
sex.
I love writing sexy scenes. Love it. It's a chance for me to
push myself as a writer and have my characters get to know each other on a new
level. But you know what I also love? The interactions after sex. When they're
still naked and completely vulnerable. I use those moments as much as I can
because they're precious. They're sweet and I absolutely love writing them. For
me as a writer, sex is another way to bring my couples closer together, but
it's not the only way. They go on dates, go through awkward moments, have
struggles and overcome them. Yes, this is fiction, but I want it to feel real.
I want my readers to feel like they know these characters. Like they're your
friends and neighbors and co-workers and relatives.
I want the love stories to feel real. Or at least real-ish.
Yes, that means my characters have sex. But that isn't the ONLY thing they do.
Blair and Declan, from UnWritten, have explosive sexual
chemistry from the get go. It was actually a shock to me when I first stated
writing the book, because I'd thought maybe I might hold off a bit on the sexy
things. But then my characters took my ideas and tossed them out the window. They
were going to do what they were going to do and I just had to hold on tight.
I've learned that trying to force something on my characters only leads to
disaster. But that doesn't mean every couple I write will be the same. To me,
they're all people and their relationship journeys are all different.
I don't know what the answer is to the notion that new adult
books are just about the sex. I guess I'll just keep writing and hoping for
change.

Synopsis:
Twenty-three year old, Kamryn Cunningham has left all she’s ever known and moved to a small town where no one knows her name, who her parents are, or her social status in the horseracing world. Months after opening her own bakery and evading attempts of being set up by her new best friend, she meets Brody. Kamryn fights the instant pull between them because there’s a detail she can’t dismiss. Brody’s married.

After marrying his pregnant girlfriend, he spends the next six years in a relationship filled with hatred, manipulation and guilt involving a tragedy that happened five years earlier. When he keeps running into his sister-in-law’s best friend, Kamryn, he can’t ignore that she makes him feel more with just one look than his wife ever has; and soon he can’t continue fight his feelings for her.
When staying apart proves to be too difficult, Brody and Kamryn enter a relationship full of stolen moments and nights that end too soon while they wait for Brody to file for divorce. But the guilt that comes with their relationship may prove to be too much for Kamryn, and Brody might not be strong enough to face the tragedy from his past in order to leave his conniving wife.

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

F*ck and chuck. Pump and dump. Hit it and quit it. One night stand. Didn’t matter how I branded it—that’s all she had wanted it to be. That much was clear when she left me with my pants down and my dick still out. What she hadn’t counted on was fate intervening and our worlds colliding—again.
The day I showed back up in the life of Chloe Griffins, I knew I had to have her again. My body was hungry for another taste. Like an addict, I’d been craving another hit for months, and there she was—flesh and bone, tits and ass.
The fact that she worked for the competition should’ve been reason enough for me to leave her alone. I had a job to do that summer and f*cking Chloe wasn’t part of it. But I was like a man possessed.
I’d do whatever it took to have her again.

“Does it put you at risk?”
She shuffled the coffee container around and scooped two teaspoons
into the mugs. “He says it does, but I haven’t seen any evidence of it.”
“I’m sure he knows what he’s talking about.”
“That’s what worries me. What if he’s right, Ben?” Her guilt
surged at the concerned expression on her brother’s face.
“I can only offer advice as a brother, and that would be to stay
the hell away from the guy if he puts you at risk. But –” He crossed his arms
over his chest. “—I’ve done stuff that was stupid in my time, too, and I know
that if you want something bad enough, nobody can advise you against it.”
“Am I suicidal for wanting to be involved in his life?”
Ben smiled. “No, Steph. You just care too much.”
“So why do I keep walking out on him?”
“Because you’re scared.”
Was she? Probably. “I guess.”
Ben sighed, and retrieved the milk from the fridge. “Do you
remember what you said to me the day you got your first tattoo?”
Steph shook her head. The day was a typical memory—vivid in parts,
but equally foggy in others.
“You said you didn’t want to live in fear anymore.”
She smiled. Ben was right; she had said exactly that.
“So what are you doing now?”
He held her stare, raised eyebrows and all as the reality sunk in.
She was letting fear get the upper hand yet again. All of this: Pete, Cass,
Ivan—she withdrew from all of them out of fear of what would come. “You’re so
right. I can’t believe I let myself slide back into that.”
“Sometimes it’s hardest to see the fault in ourselves, Sis.”

Finding Dandelion (Dearest #2)
Lex Martin
A New Adult Romance
When soccer all-star Jax Avery collides with Dani Hart on his twenty-first birthday, their connection is instantaneous and explosive. For the first time in years, Jax isn’t interested in his usual hit-it and quit-it approach.
But Dani knows better. Allowing herself a night to be carefree and feel the intensity of their attraction won’t change anything when it comes to dealing with a player. So when Jax doesn’t recognize Dani the next time he sees her, it shouldn’t be a total shock. The fact that he’s her new roommate's brother? That’s a shock.
Dani doesn’t regret that night with Jax, just the need to lie about it. Since her roommate has made it clear what she thinks about her brother’s “type” of girl, the last thing Dani wants is to admit what happened.
Jax knows he’s walking a fine line on the soccer team. One more misstep and he’s off the roster, his plans to go pro be damned. Except he can’t seem to care. About anything… except for the one girl who keeps invading his dreams.
Despite Jax’s fuzzy memory of his hot hookup with his sister’s friend, he can’t stay away from her, even if it means breaking his own rules. But there are bigger forces at work–realities that can end Dani’s college career and lies that can tear them apart.
Jax realizes what he’s losing if Dani walks away, but will he sacrifice his future to be with her? And will she let him if he does?
