Synopsis
Blair Walton isn't your average tattooed children's librarian. She's also one half of bestselling romance author, Scarlet Rose. Along with her bff Raine, she spends her nights writing books so steamy, she's afraid they would shock her Southern conservative grandmother to death, if she knew about them. Blair and Raine keep their smut peddling ways a secret from everyone, including family.
On deadline for their latest book and out of ideas, Raine suggests (demands) that Blair find a guy and "do some research." It just so happens that Blair has a guy that's ready and willing. Declan Bennet has all the qualifications: He's British, looks fabulous in a suit and gets bonus points for being a single dad. But what started out as a research project quickly turns into something much more. Someone else is writing this love story and Blair has completely lost control. But will Declan still feel the same way when he finds out the truth about Blair and her secret motives?

Is It All About Sex?
It's been said (more than once) that new adult novels are
just young adult novels plus sex. Every time I see someone perpetuate this
statement, it makes me ragey. It's also been said that sex sells. Sure it does.
Why is pornography so popular? Why do magazines with half-naked women on them
sell better than ones with women that are fully-clothed?
Sex DOES sell. But sex isn't EVERYTHING.
Just like a relationship can't be based purely on sex, new
adult novels are not purely based on sex. Unless, of course, they're erotica.
Then it's perfectly fine to have a book that is just based on sex. But many new
adult novels are being categorized as "erotica" and they simply
aren't. Here's a good barometer for a book: If you took out every erotic scene,
would you still have a story? Most romances have sex in them, but aren't ABOUT
sex.
I love writing sexy scenes. Love it. It's a chance for me to
push myself as a writer and have my characters get to know each other on a new
level. But you know what I also love? The interactions after sex. When they're
still naked and completely vulnerable. I use those moments as much as I can
because they're precious. They're sweet and I absolutely love writing them. For
me as a writer, sex is another way to bring my couples closer together, but
it's not the only way. They go on dates, go through awkward moments, have
struggles and overcome them. Yes, this is fiction, but I want it to feel real.
I want my readers to feel like they know these characters. Like they're your
friends and neighbors and co-workers and relatives.
I want the love stories to feel real. Or at least real-ish.
Yes, that means my characters have sex. But that isn't the ONLY thing they do.
Blair and Declan, from UnWritten, have explosive sexual
chemistry from the get go. It was actually a shock to me when I first stated
writing the book, because I'd thought maybe I might hold off a bit on the sexy
things. But then my characters took my ideas and tossed them out the window. They
were going to do what they were going to do and I just had to hold on tight.
I've learned that trying to force something on my characters only leads to
disaster. But that doesn't mean every couple I write will be the same. To me,
they're all people and their relationship journeys are all different.
I don't know what the answer is to the notion that new adult
books are just about the sex. I guess I'll just keep writing and hoping for
change.

Kamryn fights the instant pull between them because there’s a detail she can’t dismiss. Brody’s married.

My 5 Review
Wow, What Can I say Jamie had me falling in love with the Maddox Boys in BD....... and I LOVED Travis, I did not think anyone of the boys could top him.... I thought wrong Trent Maddox is AMAZING, sweet, sexy, and LOVES hard when he loves....
I devoured this book in 24 hrs. There is just something about Jamie's writing and her stories that pulls you in from the start. I had no choice but to keep reading until I got to the very end.
This is one of those stories where you need to go into it not knowing any spoilers for sure, otherwise it could ruin the full story and effect of it all on you.
“Have you ever wanted something that you knew you shouldn’t have? That it was wrong on every level, but you knew you needed it?”
Trent tattooed, sweet, I loved him, I loved how he loved hard.... I loved how he wormed his way right into Cami's life even though she tried to fight him.... they became friends.... Best friends....
"I've had a lifetime of wrong. You're the only thing that's right."
Cami, She was so independent. She was a heroine I truly loved. She knew the minute that her and Trent had become friends she would be in trouble. After all every knows that the Maddox boys scream trouble. Women love them, and Men dream of being like them. Where ever you see a Maddox you see woman wanting to be on their arm.
“I’ll help you get lost any time, Sunshine. The only deal is you have to promise to come back. I never want to lose you again.”
Watching the friendship between Trent and Cami was awesome, sweet, and I just loved every minute of it. I was happy to see also that their relationship was a slow build and it was not instant love.
I loved getting pieces of Travis and Abby in this book as well as some new characters that I fell in love with also. I can not wait to see what comes next in this series.
There is alot more to this story, but honestly I do not want to spoil any of it for anyone... So I will leave you with this ....

Blog Tour, My Review & Giveaway for Take By Ella Frank
Synopsis
TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.
Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.
Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.
He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.
Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.
Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.
At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.
He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.
Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?
Excerpt
“That’s your truck?”
“Yes.”
“It’s so…”
“So what?” Logan challenged as he pulled his keys from his pocket.
“Old?”
“Excuse me. I’ll have you know I was driving this baby all through college and she still runs like a dream.”
Tate watched as Logan walked over to run his hand over the scratched-up tailgate, and he was amazed that he even made that look sexy. Like he was stroking a lover.
“And it’s a she, huh?”
Now around at the passenger’s side, Logan opened the door and looked at him over the bed of the truck. “Yeah. Jealous?”
Laughing, Tate walked over to where Logan stood with a hand on the door and kissed him slowly on the mouth.
“I’m jealous of anything you stroke like that.”
“Get in the truck, Tate.”
“Or else?”
Logan stepped forward, crowding him back against the inside frame of the vehicle. “You’re not ready for the or else…”

My 5 Star Review
I did not think it was possible to love Tate and Logan any
more than I already did after reading Try, BUT Ella proved me wrong with Take.
Take continues where Try left off and the story of Tate and Logan continue.
Logan always takes what he wants and he wants Tate no holds
barred. Watching these two men go
through the feelings and emotions in this book was amazing. Their relationship
takes on a whole new front in this book. When they decide to make it publicly
known that they are in a relationship.
Tate does not know how he is going to deal with his parents,
but he knows he needs to and soon before his ex wife and sister do it for him.
Logan’s family and friends welcome him with open arms and you can surely feel
the love from them all.
These two men have some hurdles to get through and some
curve balls are thrown their way, but their relationship is stronger than they
both think.
One thing I loved about this one was that Tate took the
reins more and he did it so powerfully. Once he realized that Logan was truly
what he wanted there was no stopping him from having him. Watching these two
men grow more emotionally attached in this book was awesome.
Ella has a writing style that I truly love. She brought us
two great characters that I fell in love with instantly. She brought us raw sex
scenes, but also some very heartfelt emotional ones as well.
I can not wait for the next book. I love Tate and Logan and
am waiting patiently for more of them.

With our bodies aligned perfectly together, we dance; swaying along with the music as it changes and the start of “Heartbeat” by Enrique Iglesias penetrates through the room. This song is perfect because not only is my heart racing, but I can feel Cole’s beating wildly against my back. The lyrics speak volumes; Cole is already stealing my heart… I can feel it.
So lost in the song, it takes me a second to realize that my hair has been pulled to the side and Cole’s lips are peppering soft wet kisses along my neck and shoulder.
Goosebumps break out across my skin and desire ripples its way through my system. His touch is all-consuming and by God, I want and need to be consumed. “Grace,” he whispers as he kisses and licks my ear lobe. My body shudders in reaction and moves closer to him allowing contact with the very hard and impressive bulge that presses into my lower back.
Dear God, is it normal to feel like this so soon after meeting someone?
I turn in his arms without breaking contact and look directly into those bright blue eyes, which are heated and sparkling with desire. My gaze moves to his lips as his tongue trails across them and I lose all control. Throwing myself forward, I wrap my arms tightly around his neck and crash my lips to his.
As everything around us fades away, Cole’s arms engulf my body completely so that there isn’t even a millimeter of space between us. His hungry lips assault mine and I can feel the need radiating off him in waves. Our lips part, our tongues meet and embrace, dancing with each other in the confines of our mouths.
His taste is exquisite and his technique exceptional as he takes control of the kiss. I vaguely register his hands roaming my body as my fingers tangle further into his hair, pushing his head closer to mine. I don’t know how long we stand there so completely wrapped up in each other, but when we both pull back, our chests are heaving and our breathing labored.
Cole leans forward and rests his forehead against mine. My eyes close as I relish the sweet gesture. “Most spectacular first kiss ever, Sweet Cheeks.”
My heart swells at the comment and his new name for me. I really like it. “I couldn’t agree with you more,” I simply reply, knowing I will always remember this moment forever.
