My 5 Star Review
What an Amazing ending to one breathtakingly beautiful
story. I LOVED every single minute of Jared and Aly. Right from the start A.L.
pulls you in and keeps you turning pages to the very end.
Come To Me Softly picks up right where Come To Me Quietly
ended. So please make sure you read the first book in this series before
reading this one.
A second chance at life…
A second chance at love…
A second chance at love…
Jared did not think he
deserved either one of these until he met Aly. Running from his past, he knows
that until he faces it head on he cannot have a future with Aly without finally
putting the past to rest. When he decides to face it he encounters more than he
bargained for: a dangerous mix of jealousy, lies, and dishonest intentions.
When those intentions threaten Aly, Jared loses all control, giving into the
rage that earned him his bad boy reputation years before. Jared does not believe he deserves to
be happy and have a life with Aly. He thinks he should remain miserable and have
nothing great in his life.
Jared, what is there not to
love about him? NOTHING!!! Jared is so amazing in this story.
“Jared, "I like anything that ends in you
and me.”
The love that Aly and Jared have for each other is so powerful and all
consuming that you just root for them from the first pages of the story. You
wish for their happily ever after no matter what.
“Promise me you won't run when it gets ugly,
Jared. Because life always does, and I can't bear the thought of living without
you in mine."
Aly, I loved how she was with Jared when he came back. I love how she
knew he needed to put his past to rest before having a future with her. I
Absolutely LOVED how she stood right by his side and never faltered from it. She
is is trigger as well as the breath he breathes. He needs her like he has never
needed anyone before.
“I can't live without you, baby . . . can't
sleep without you . . . can't breathe without you."
“Even as damaged as I knew he was, this
gorgeous man was my perfection.”
There is a lot of struggles that Jared must get through before we see
him get his Happily Ever After. We see firsthand what Aly will do to help him.
“I once believed I'd take whatever piece of him
he was willing to give. That was no longer good enough. I wanted it all.”
That is all you get from me. I do not wish to spoil this for anyone. I
will say this… If you have not read this series yet, YOU are totally missing
out on one fantastic Series and you should scoop it up now.

Lost to You
The prequel to the bestselling romance, Take This Regret.
People come into our lives. Some stay, and many go. Some build us up, while most tear us down. They become our friends, our enemies, our lovers, our tormentors.
Christian Davison came into mine, and I knew I’d never be the same.
To Elizabeth Ayers, New York City had always been a dream. She’s worked her entire young life to make it here.
Groomed to one day take over his father’s law firm, attending Columbia University was Christian Davison’s only option.
Neither wanted anything more until they sat across from each other at a café table after being paired as study partners.
Christian wants her, but Elizabeth knows better than to give into their intense attraction. Yet there is little she can do to stay away.
Take This Regret
There are some mistakes we make that we will regret for the rest of our lives.
For Christian Davison, it was the day he betrayed Elizabeth Ayers.
For five years, Christian has regretted the day he walked away from his family and will do anything to win them back.
Can Elizabeth forgive someone who has committed the unforgiveable? Or are there some wounds that go so deep they can never heal?
If Forever Comes

Their love is intense and their passion only grows as they set out to rediscover each other.
But life is never easy.
Rocked by the unforeseen, Christian and Elizabeth will find themselves fighting for the one thing they hold most important—family.

From the acclaimed
bestselling author of Lost to You and
When We Collide comes a new adult novel of one woman’s
obsession: a man who’s as passionate as he is elusive—and as tempting as he is
trouble…
Aleena Moore is haunted by Jared Holt. It’s been six years
since she’s seen her brother’s best friend, the self-destructive bad boy she
secretly loved in high school. As the years pass, she knows it’s time to move
on. Time to decide between a practical nursing degree and her true dream as an
artist. Time to get over Jared and give another guy a chance…
Just when she opens her heart to her friend Gabe, Aly
returns home to find Jared sleeping on her couch. The teenage boy she loved has
grown into a man she can’t resist. Covered in tattoos and lost in rage, he’s
begging to be saved from his demons—the memories of the day he destroyed his
family. As the two reconnect, their passion is hot enough to torch Aly’s
judgment. But can she risk her future for a man who lives on the edge of
destruction?
My 5 Star Review:
This story is simply beautiful. It is full of emotions,
love, hurt, pain, angst. This story is so raw and real. Amy has definitely out
done herself with this story, It is so beautifully written & truly amazing.
If I write a review there is no way I can do this book any
justice. It is simply one I feel you need to buy, read and experience yourself
without other’s telling you all about it.
I will say this I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this story and I cannot
wait for more of Jared and Aleena!!! I will be patiently waiting for book #2 in
this series.
Yes this is a 2 book series, this one does not leave you in
a bad cliffhanger, more of a happy for now one. You know you’re going to get
more from Jared and Aleena.
Some quotes I loved include:
“I see beauty and pain. Joy and sorrow. I see the good and I see the
bad . . . and I love it all.”
“...I would do anything to keep Aly safe. Safe from him. Safe from me.
Safe from anyone who even for a minute thought of messing with her.”
"Memories swirled through my mind like the whirlwind she was, the
little girl who'd barely had to look at me and I already know what she wanted
or needed. Mom once told me Aly had me wrapped around her little finger. She'd
been wrong. Aly had held me in the palm of her hand."
"I knew I should push her away because this girl who'd
managed to sink her fingers into my spirit was going to end up as just another
one of them - a fucking perfect memory to torture me through the rest of my
life.
"Instead I clung to her, crushed her to me because I couldn't stop myself from taking from her until the moment she was taken from me."

Hi Amy, thank you for agreeing to this
interview.
1.
What inspired you to write your
first book?
I used to write a lot when I was in college, but it was more just poetry that I kept in a journal. Once I got married and had more children, it kind of became something I didn’t do anymore. But about six years ago, I started reading a lot, and it really ignited that passion to write. So I finally sat down and started to write what would eventually be my first book, Pulled.

2.
What books have most influenced your life most?
Definitely Gone with the Wind. It truly established my love for reading and romance. I was in fourth grade when I read it, and it was one I will never forget. I have to believe it contributed to what I write today.

Are there any new authors that
have grasped your interest?
Oh yes, a couple of weeks ago I read Night Owl by M. Pierce. Completely loved it. Excited to follow this author.

What are your current projects?
I’m currently working on Come to Me Softly, which is the sequel to Come to Me Quietly. I also have a special project in the works that hasn’t been announced yet, but I’m really excited about it.

5. Where do you get
your ideas?
Ahh…this is so hard to say because really they just come to me. I usually see the characters first and I get a faint idea of what their story is about. Then they just grow in my thoughts and their story comes to life.

6. Do you work with an
outline, or just write?
When I first began writing, I worked off a very detailed outline. I think I was worried if I didn’t stay on track, my book wouldn’t come together. Now I write from a very loose outline. Usually the book comes out looking nothing like I’d planned (mostly because I write too long and can’t fit half the content I’d initially planned in there LOL ;) )

7. Is anything in your
books based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?
There are always life experiences I draw from, but I’ve never written an entire book based on one experience.

Who is your favorite author and

9.
Which famous person, living
or dead would you like to meet and why?
Oh wow…this is difficult! I think I’d really love to meet Nora Roberts, but only if she wants to tell me all her secrets ;) JK but seriously, it’s truly inspirational to me that she’s written so many works and managed to keep her readers engaged. I hope to be that type of prolific author and I’d love to learn from her and how she manages to keep her stories fresh.

How do you relax?

Any amusing story
about marketing books that happened to you?
I did a local book fair about a year ago, right after Lost to You came out. We had the cover blown up and put on an easel… I didn’t even think how many heads it would turn. All these old men kept stopping, pointing at it, and snickering. Some of the women smacked their husbands for looking. So apparently we were in the WRONG CROWD LOL

12.
What is the hardest
thing about writing?
The amount of time it takes me. Sometimes I’ll sit there for hours and absolutely nothing comes. It can be very frustrating, but I’ve come to accept that’s just the way I write.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

EXCERPT
I gasped when strong. arms wrapped around me from behind. Then I melted when he buried his face in my neck. Jared spun me around and pressed me up against the cool metal of my car door. His hands were on my face, in my hair, slipping down my sides before he brought them back up to force me to look at him. “Thank you.” Desperation poured from him, his hold increasing as he stared down at the shock I felt lining my face. “Thank you for fucking believing in me, Aly. For getting me.” Fear lashed across his face. Or maybe it was remorse. He swallowed hard, his voice hardened with strain. “I’m scared to think of where I’d be right now without you.” That fear that had flashed on his face coiled in my stomach. Because I didn’t know where he’d been. Had no idea where the last three months had taken him. How far. How low. I wasn’t sure I wanted to know. “You’re here with me now.” I had to believe that was all that mattered. He grimaced. Gripping my face, he leaned down and kissed me, hard and demanding. There was no soft affection, none of the playfulness from upstairs. This was a seal. A branding. He jerked back. A storm raged in the blue of his eyes. “Don’t think I can’t see all those questions burning in your mind, Aly. And I may not have all the answers right now, but we are going to figure this out. Do you understand me? I promise you that.” And I saw it all there, the torment that plagued Jared, this beautiful man who had lost his way, the one desperate to find his way home.
