"Last night my dear stranger came to me..."

Sadie Adams spent years hiding a secret in her journal. A beautiful secret wrapped in a dear stranger who came to her in the night. A stranger who came to her filled with love, passion, and devotion. And her only release from her secret days and her lonely nights came from her journal; a journal that kept her company as life slowly passed her by while she anxiously waited for his return.

"How do you live, when you've spend your life waiting alone?"

Waiting, the darkness and pain grew until within the grip of loneliness and death, she finally found a light to hold onto.
Brighter and kinder than anyone she had ever known, Sadie finally chose to live in a world of light...
Even as a Darkness was born

MY 5 STAR REVIEW

“I am here now, half alive, but alive. I am no longer waiting for the world outside to let me live, slow and sure, as I finally learn how to breathe alone.”

Sarah blew my mind with I am Her and This is Me…….. but with My Dear Stranger she had me considering my own sanity.
Sadie, has the perfect life, best husband, and cutest little boy who loves his mom…. But Sadie is not ok.

When her husband takes her son away for a weekend with his family, Sadie breaks out her Journal. It is time she says… Time to get through the past and move forward with her life. She needs the Closure.

I will admit, this one threw me for a loop. I believe I was actually depressed right along with Sadie while reading her story. Sometimes I felt like I was losing my own mind while reading. There were numerous times I had to stop and go back and re-read a section to make sure I had actually read it right.

“Why does He come to me? What does He want from me?”

My Dear Stranger first comes to Sadie when she is 16 years old. At first I thought she was losing her mind. I honestly thought that she had made up my Dear Stranger. For years My Dear Stranger was visiting Claire at night and would leave before the morning. One more than one occasion while reading I thought she was simply dreaming. Then I was thinking well maybe she suffers from split personalities.
Sadie is one woman who will leave you wondering if you are in a dream or if this is really her reality.

“How do you live, when you’ve spent your life waiting alone?”
Sadie goes through many years waiting nightly for her Dear Stranger to come. Sometimes she is left waiting months… and even for a few years…. But Sadie always waits. Not able to move on. Living her life alone waiting for My Dear Stranger.

Sadie runs into an old friend from School Alex, and Alex works hard to get himself into her life. Sadie learns to care for Alex and maybe even love him a little but her heart will always be with her Dear Stranger. Alex will do all he possibly can to get her to love him completely.
As I read more of this story I began to think that I had it all figured out, and then Sarah threw me for a loop and I was like OMG …. How did I not see that coming….

This is definitely a story that will intrigue you. It will leave you wondering what in the hell is going on. You might even question your own sanity while ready this story,.. I know I did. Bravo to Sarah for bringing us another truly amazing story.

The tragic conclusion to 'I am HER...'

Finally...
She has a name. She has a past and she has a history.
She knows who she is. And she knows who she wanted to be.
She knows the way to all she ever wanted, but she knows she can't change the past that destroyed her.

"I swear I'm here, but I'm not. I swear I can feel, but I don't.
I swear I hear people, but I'm all alone.
Where am I? What have I done?"

If everything you knew was nothing you know, how do you begin to live again?
When beautiful dreams surround you but darkness consumes you, how do you begin to live anew?

"After I exhale, I turn to my empty room once again.
In the silence that follows my tears, I am washed in clarity.
I am NOT her. THIS is me..."

About Sarah

Sarah Ann Walker was raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where she attended McMaster University, as an English major. After beginning her career in 2002- a career as an office administrator, polar-opposite to her studies, Sarah met and married her American husband, and they chose to remain in Canada together. Sarah continued her career, giving birth to their only child in 2005, spending 9 years with the same company, until leaving in 2011.
In the summer of 2012, during a manic 2-week period, Sarah was transformed into the main character of 'I am HER...'. The novel was horrific, engrossing, graphic, painful and beautiful at once, and Sarah found herself consumed with the struggle, madness and passion of the main character's amazing story.
'I am HER...' has received positive reviews both locally and online from her readers. Sarah can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and goodreads.com where her readers can leave reviews and feedback. Sarah looks forward to hearing from her readers

Full 8 STAR, (YES I Said 8 Stars) Review now posted !!!!!!

I will start by saying if you have not read I am HER then DO NOT read this book yet. YOU MUST read I am HER before you read this is ME otherwise you will not fully understand all of what you are about to read.

This is the conclusion to I am HER. When I read I am HER I was left broken, devastated, completely gutted and full of so many other emotions. Suzanne’s story is still so fresh in my mind. This is the first book that has ever brought out every single emotion in me at one time. When I finished I am HER I had no idea at the time that Sarah was going to be writing another one with the conclusion of Suzanne. To say I was happy when I found out is not true I was freaking SCARED!!!! I had no idea where Sarah was going to go with This is Me and I was literally on pins and needles waiting to find out.

LOVED.EVERY.Single.Minute.Of.It. I cried, I held my breath, I screamed at my kindle, I felt every single emotional all over again with this amazing conclusion to Suzanne’s story.

“What am I recovering from? What happened to me?”

This is Me picks up right where I am HER left off. We are immediately thrown back into the crazy Life of Suzanne and her head. Now Suzanne must figure out who the voices are, they sound familiar but their faces do not. Sarah I honestly do not know how you did it but you brought us one hell of a conclusion to Suzanne’s story. It’s dark, raw, gritty, super emotional and just when you think Suzanne might finally get some sort of a break you get thrown with a curveball you did not see coming.

This is Me is about Suzanne, but more so about Z, Mack, and both New York Kayla & Chicago Kayla.

The way that Mack, who I absolutely LOVED how he sticks by Suzanne through everything she has been through and everything she continues to work through in this story is simply AMAZING… Everyone needs a Mack in their life.

“Everything with Suzanne is just so hard all the time. Being with Suzanne is just exhausting.”

The two Kayla’s with friends like them to stick by you anything in your life is possible. I LOVE how they pulled together to see and help Suzanne through everything.

Z this is no words to describe this man, he is truly one remarkable man. He is sweet; he is caring, loving, thoughtful, and an all-around truly amazing man.

Marcus…… I don’t even want to discuss that individual…….

I got so many answers in this conclusion that I felt like I was truly inside of Suzanne’s head on more than one occasion. I felt like I was right there going through it all with her, and let me tell you it was no easy road for her. I was scared reading this and wondering where Sarah was going to go with this conclusion. On more than one instance I was holding my breath while turning a page because I thought for sure something terrible was coming.

There were definitely moments when I had to stop and catch my breath. There were moments when I had to stop reading completely because I could not see through my own tears. My heart did break, but it was also put back together by the end. The pain and healing that Suzanne went through will forever be etched in my brain.

”I’m going to forget the monsters, and I’m going to love the angels instead.”

Sarah has done in absolutely amazing job of bringing Suzanne’s story to a conclusion. This is definitely not a hearts and flowers type of read. It is Dark, it is intense. It is truly like nothing I have ever read before. Suzanne’s story will stick with me for the rest of my life.
I cannot wait to see what Sarah comes up with next. I know I will anxiously be waiting to see where her next project takes me.

“I want a happily ever after. Everyone wants a happily ever after…No one wants the ending to feel worse than the horrific journey to get there.”

This is by far one of my favorite Dark story of the year. If you have not read I am HER and This is ME I suggest you do you truly will not be disappointed.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Book deserves a solid 8 stars , just for the struggles that Sarah went through with writing this amazing story and sharing it with me .

I am gutted , I am an emotional wreck after reading this story. I am shocked !!!!! I wanted Suzanne to have her happy ending , the love she so deserved after the life she had been living for so long and the torment that she went through .

This Book will pull you into an emotional ride like you have never experienced before . It will make you cry, it will make you hold your breathe, it will make your heart hurt like it has never felt pain before . The emotions in this book are heavy.

This novel was horrific, engrossing, graphic, painful and beautiful at once, and I found myself consumed with the struggle, madness and passion of the main character's amazing story. I found myself literally holding my breath with Suzanne through this story.

“After shutting off the phone to ignore the incessant ringing, I'm proud of myself. I hear nothing but silence. There is nothing torturing me. There is no sound to make me jump or panic. There is nothing but complete silence, well, Except In My Head, but whatever.”

Most people look for a HEA in books , This book has an HEA but in a different way . It is hard to explain. YOU will be shocked with the ending of the book , BUT you will also realize that in the end Suzanne was happy , she was Loved, and she felt love like she was truly suppose to in life .. BUT it is also gut wrenching to see that after ALL she went through things ended the way they did ... My heart Hurts for her, My Heart Aches for Z .

I can't imagine anyone in their life ever going through something like Suzanne did and even fathom wanting to live after everything comes crashing down on her . She does though and she works her ass off to get herself better and work through everything that has ever happened to her ... and in the end I truly believe she was happy , she was loved.

"I love you, Z...
But I am gone.”

Thank you Sarah for sharing Suzanne's story with me by asking me to read and review it . Suzanne and Z will forever be in my heart and I will love them forever !!!!
