Well I will start by saying that if Lynetta wrote it I will read it. I have not found a book that she has written yet that I have not fallen in love with the story or the characters. Lynetta pours her heart and her soul into her writing and it clearly shows with everything she has written thus far. Used is no exception. Once again Lynetta has brought us characters that will pull at your heart strings from the first page till the last page. This is a different kind of story then anything Lynetta has written before and I was excited to see where she was going to go with this story once I read the synopsis. She did not disappoint me at all. I LOVED every single minute of this story.
Denver is a Barrel Racer…. Greer is a calf roper. …. Ransom is a Bull Rider……
Denver and Greer grew up together. Greer has stood by Denver through all the challenges she has faced in her life, from being called a slut at school, to be bullied by her peers, he has even stood by her in instances with numerous different step father’s. They know everything about each other, or so it seems they do.
They are best friends, but they are also friends with benefits. Denver does not think she deserves to be loved, and refuses to get into a relationship with Greer or anyone else. Denver goes off to college and to separate herself from Greer because she has felt bad about the way she has treated him all through their sex and nothing more relationship. She wants him to be able to find someone he deserves who will love him and give him what he deserves. Greer does not give up that easily though and he follows her to the same college.
Ransom, hot sexy bull rider, and he also is a known man-whore. When Denver and Ransom meet there is chemistry between the two. She has always followed his career and he has always followed her’s as well. Can these two have a relationship with Ransom being a man-whore and Denver thinking she is a Slut? What about Greer, where is he in all of this?
This is a love/ hate triangle. These characters are raw, gritty, and so damn flawless.
This story does end with more to come, but it does not end in a major cliffhanger in my opinion. You will definitely want more and you will definitely want to know what happens with these 3 individuals. Who’s Team will you be on when you finish this story? I myself I am 100% team Ransom and when you read this awesome story you will know why I chose Random!!!!
