Immortal Eclipse
by Sherry Soule
Book Blurb:
Mystery, Murder, Manolo Blahnik
A devoted fashionata and practical New Yorker, Skylar Blackwell doesn’t believe in the supernatural—until she inherits Summerwind Mansion. . . .
When her uncle is brutally murdered, and the cops seem uninterested in following up the case, Skylar journeys to California to seek answers. Her search for clues is soon overshadowed by haunting nightmares of a young woman also murdered in the house.
Now the inhabitants of Summerwind are mysteriously dying, leaving no evidence as to how or why, and Skylar finds herself in a deadly race against time to expose the killer—before they strike again.
Armed with only wit and Pradas, Skylar begins questioning the servants, but the growing list of suspects includes the sexy and brooding caretaker, Dorian, a man desperately trying to forget his tragic past. And a major distraction for Skylar.
Determined to play detective—instead of the fashion police—and unravel the dark history of the mansion, Skylar is plunged into an otherworldly mystery that not even she can explain away. As the boundaries between reality and dreams blur, Skylar’s greatest challenge is to stay alive long enough to learn the truth

I had a chance to ask Sherry some questions for an Interview. Check out what she had to say !!!!
Can
you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am the author of the
popular young adult series, “Spellbound.”
And I write urban tales, which include elements of mystery, romance, fantasy,
and suspense for teens and adults. I live with my family and one very spoiled
black cat in California’s San Francisco Bay Area.
When
did you first start writing and when did you finish your first book?
Started
writing at about age 7 and have never really stopped. Finished my first novel
about 15 years ago. I wrote my newest novel, IMMORTAL ECLIPSE about 9 years
ago.
How
did you choose the genre you write in?
I have loved the horror genre and paranormal
romance, so I was naturally drawn to those genres. But I have written
contemporary/ romantic suspense novels, too.
Where
do you get your ideas?
From
everywhere. TV, movies, dreams, real life.
Do
you work with an outline, or just write?
I am more of a pantser, but now I am going to try to
outline my next novel. Wish me luck! LOL
Is
there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way either
growing up or as an adult?
I was a huge fan of the late, V. C. Andrews, Lois
Duncan, and Anne Rice as a teen.
Can
you tell us about your challenges in getting your first book published?
I sent out queries to various agents and editors,
but was rejected. Undaunted, I decided to go Indie and I’ve never looked back.
How
do you market your work? What avenues have you found to work best for your
genre?
I just chat and promote on Twitter (my fav social
networking site) and on Facebook. I am not much of a blogger. My life is pretty
boring, so I feel like I never have anything exciting to share. LOL
Can
you tell us about your upcoming book?
I’m glad that you asked. Actually, my young adult
series, Spellbound is getting a major
makeover. There were scenes that had to be cut in the published version that I
really wanted, so now my publisher and I have agreed to reinsert those scenes
and chapters back into the novels, but to do so they will be broken up into two
parts. So, be on the lookout for the new editions with lots of angst and extra
romance to be published in September.
Spellbound
Series:
BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN (book one)
SHATTERED SILENCE
(book
two)
MOONLIGHT MAYHEM (book three)
RECKLESS RECKONING (book four)
DESTINY DISRUPTED (book five) coming 2014
What
was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?
If any of you have read my books, then you’ll know
that I love to write the dark and spooky. The scary scenes are my favorite to
write. Right now, I am working with this amazing editor, Deelylah Mullin,
who is helping me to learn to write much steamier romance. ;-)
What
project are you working on now?
DESTINY DISRUPTED, what will be book 5 in my YA
series, and then I am going to start working on a new adult series, and a
zombie novel.
Will
you have a new book coming out soon?
Hopefully early 2014.
Is
there anything that you would like to say to your readers and fans?
To my readers, thank you for all your
fantastic support and encouragement. To all the book bloggers, a huge debt of
gratitude for embracing my debut novel and giving it such hearty praise. You
guys ROCK! And have seriously great taste in books.
