My rating: 5 of 5 starsI Love KA , I love how I can pull up one of her books on my kindle to read and Know the minute I do I am in for one hell of an Amazing Ride.
She did not disappoint again, I loved Fire Inside.
Lanie has been through alot , we were with her when she was with Elliot and Tyra when they got kidnapped. Elliot her fiance Died as a result, Lanie got shot and Tyra got stabbed. Seven years later and Lanie is still dealing with the guilt of it all.
1st chapter in we find out what Lanie wants from Hop .... She wants one night, One night no complications. We all know that Lanie has had eyes for Hop for yrs. Hop Agree's but we soon find out one night is not nearly enough. I mean come on this is HOP one of the MC guys , do you think it will be one night no complications?
Lanie is trying her hardest not to give in and let Hop in, she wanted one night, but soon realizes he has become her drug and she wants more, but she does not want to complicate things. Soon though she discovers that Hop wants more , He opens up to her about his past and is totally honest with her About EVERYTHING !!!!
Hop wants her and he wants to try to help her get rid of her monsters.
”Take a chance on me,” he whispered.”
”Don’t regret what you did. Don’t regret the decisions you made. You did right. You followed your heart and that is never wrong, darlin’ But shit went down extreme. That’s over, Lanie. Long over. Move on.”
Hop total Alpha Man , Which we knew he would be he is one of KA's Bad*** bigger guys . He is protective, hot, tattooed, totally sexy.He is a member of The MC club and he stands by the fact that they all protect each other and are family. He is willing to protect all things Chaos. He also has a kind damn heart as we find out in this book. He is swoon worthy for sure .
We learn all there is to know about Hop and Why things went down the way they did with His Ex Mitzi. We get more from his Kids Cody and Molly and we see how much he truly is a GREAT dad and loves his kids.
”You mean somethin’ to me in a way, for a man, he wants the world to know it. I’m proud you’re on my arm in my bed and I want to share that with my family. Don’t keep takin’ that away from me.”
They struggle, they fight, they argue, there is Drama, but we all love KA and her drama with her Men .
”Thank you, Hopper Kincaid. Suitcases. Sandwiches. Chinese. God’s country. Sweet kids. I didn’t go to sleep last night buried under emotional exhaustion. I went to sleep looking forward to seeing you. That’s a miracle, honey, and you have to know I appreciate you making that miracle happen for me.”
But in the end
”He’d done it. Pulled her out of the shadows and brought her into the light of family.
And she was basking in it.”
epilogue as usual KA did not disappoint at all !!!!!

How did I know that by reading Own the wind that Hop and Lanie would be the next book. KA sure doesn't disappoint though I can tell you that. As always great review.
