Book Review - Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2) by Jamie McGuire

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was really looking forward to this Book , I so wanted to see Travis’ POV on the whole thing. I was a little disappointed that there was not more to Travis side of things . I had re-read Beautiful Disaster before reading this one , and I felt like I was just reading the same book again but from Travis’ POV , most of it was the same .

Don’t get me wrong I am VERY happy that we got some more of Travis , I just wish it had been a LITTLE BIT More , with more things we did not read about in Beautiful Disaster.

"I know you deserve better than me. You think I don't know that? But if there was any woman made for me...it's you. I'll do whatever I have to do, Pidge. Do you hear me? I'll do anything."

One of the best things about this book was we got to see Travis when he was younger and when he had to say goodbye to his mom. That was great to be able to understand more of why Travis felt and acted like he did.

"One of these days you're going to fall in love, son. Don't settle for just anyone. Choose the girl that doesn't come easy; the one you have to fight for, and then never stop fighting. Never"—she took a deep breath—"stop fighting for what you want. And never"—her eyebrows pulled in—"forget that Mommy loves you. Even if you can't see me." A tear fell down her cheek. "I will always, always love you."

I loved how we got to get to know his Brother’s and dad a little bit more in this book as well .

Dad laughed once and nodded. “And your young lady?”
I shrugged. “She’s not exactly mine, Dad”
Dad winked. “Yet?”

Book Blurb:
Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Can you love someone too much?
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.
I loved Getting more Travis , and I loved the epilogue, I can not wait to see more of Travis’ Brothers in upcoming books 
